On 22.03.2024 at dawn ASI Baidya Nath Hansda   and PF team who was deputed on Night PF duty    apprehend one suspect person namely Nand Kishore Kumar Soni (28 yrs), S/O-Ramjee Sah of Vill- Narcotiagunj, PO & PS Shikarpur, West Champaran, Bihar, Pin-845455,) on the FOB ( from PF 1 to PF 5 ) of Kolkata terminal Station  at 05 35  hrs while checking luggage  and during that search operation one Back pack was carrying and a heavy weighted cambis Bag was found with the suspect.

 Seeing the Police team the suspect became perplexed and then tried to  flee away  but due to heavy luggage he could not ran faster &  the PF team able to apprehend the suspect and in course of interrogation  he stated that he is the carrier of Sree Ram Jweelers of Hardiyagunj . under Shikarpur PS of West Champaran District. Bihar and came to Burrabazar Kolkata for despatch of some Silver Bar.

He was brought to PS by the Night  team members and after due formalities of checking  by ASI Baidya Nath Hansda  and his team members and after opening  the heavy cambis  bag, total 22 no’s of Raw Silver weighing about 25kg 790 gms and Rs 1160000/- was found with him. All the recovery and seizure process  of these silver bar and cash were recorded in the front of CC Camera of Chitpur GRPS.

The accused was given a good time to produce any related  document of that huge liquid money as well as silver Bar  But he failed to produce any related document of that seized cash and precious metal  as well as its utilization.

So ,the accused was arrested  u/s 379/411 IPC after due service of Notice u/s 41A CrPC & 91 CrPC   with reasonable ground that he  could not produce any valid documents. Over this Complaint Chitpur GRPS  case No  8/24 dtd 22 03 24 U/S 379/411 IPC   was  started. SI Pratap Chandra Patra took up the investigation. Arrest (1) Nand Kishore Kumar Soni (28 yrs), S/O-Ramjee Sah of Vill- Narcotiagunj, PO & PS Shikarpur, West Champaran, Bihar, Pin-845455, PO – On the FOB ( from PF 1 to PF 5 ) of Kolkata terminal Station (70 mtrs north east  from PS)
